'We have stayed at Twin Oaks Guest House twice now on route to our cruises. Going down the day before the sailing means you have no worries about arriving late and stressed. The Guest house is easy to find and in a lovely location. Rooms are pleasant and the breakfast is amazing. Both times we have arranged with the guest house ( Carol) to leave our car on their premises and get taken and collected to and from the ship. This is an excellent idea . Your holiday definitely starts from the time you get to Twin Oaks.'

TRANSPORT TO AND FROM CRUISE TERMINAL - DRIVER JIM JOHNSON and his wife MARY, help Carol & Chris with transporting Guests to and from the Cruise Terminal.

*Please note - OUR DRIVER JIM JOHNSON served in the Royal Navy for more than 20 years and latterly worked in Customs and Excise. Jim is MiDAS trained, a scheme organised by the Community Transport Association U.K. (CTA) which promotes a nationally recognised standard for the assessment and training of minibus drivers. The membership based scheme is designed to enhance driving standards and promote the safer operation of transporting people.
 

CRUISE SERVICE - Twin Oaks provides a tried and tested quality service. As follows:-

  • ACCOMMODATION - Reduce the stress by driving down the day before. Stay over at Twin Oak Guest House - 10 minutes from the Cruise Line terminal, yet just inside the beautiful New Forest and National Park. Keep your room after breakfast at no cost, until it is time to leave for your cruse.

  • PARKING - Cheap, but reliable cruise parking - leave your car on Twin Oak's own private premises and be comfortable in the knowledge that it is out of harms way. Cost is £3 per day.

  • TRANSFER - Relax and be driven to the cruise terminal by our Driver Jim Johnson who has 'lived and breathed' Southampton and Shipping all his life.
